World’s Best Airline Revealed 2019

Drum roll, please….the results are in from Skytrax, revealing ‘The World’s Best Airline 2019’. This year Qatar Airways takes the top accolade, leap frogging last year’s winners, Singapore airlines, who clinch second spot.

Qatar also won ‘Best Business Class Airline’ and ‘Best Business Class’ seats, with Singapore finishing in third and second place in those categories. Respectively. Singapore, however, won ‘Best First Class airline‘, with Lufthansa and Air France coming in second and third.

Skytrax also gave out awards for the ‘Best Business Airline Lounge’ with United Airlines lounge’ in San Francisco taking top spot and Virgin Australia sealing the runner-up spot.

British Airways won third place for ‘Best Business class comfort amenities’, behind Hainan Airlines in first and Qatar airways in second.

Lufthansa won ‘Best Business Class in Europe’ with Air Canada winning ‘Best business class in North America’.

Virgin Atlantic won ‘Worlds Best Premium economy’, nudging Singapore airlines into second place.

Singapore Airlines was leading the way for ‘Best cabin crew’. Eva air was voted ‘World’s cleanest airline’, followed by Japan Airlines. 

Air Transat won ‘Best leisure airline’. ANA All Nippon Airways won the ‘Best airport services’ award.
